SAMSUNG ANNOUNCES RECORD $73 BILLION AI CHIP INVESTMENT FOR 2026

Samsung Electronics Co. plans to spend more than 110 trillion won ($73.3 billion) on chip capacity expansion and research this year, marking one of the largest investments in its history. The South Korean company also said in a corporate filing that it was pursuing meaningful mergers and acquisitions in areas including robots, medical technology, auto electronics and air-conditioning solutions.
